You should wear comfortable sports attire for warm-up and a t-shirt or vest top and shorts for the pole session. Long trousers and t-shirt or vest top for Aerial Hoop sessions and Stretch. Please remove all jewellery and no body lotion or hand creams.
I'm not confident wearing shorts can I wear leggings?
It is possible to wear longer trousers on your first Pole class, please ensure they can be rolled up over your knee, as you progress and learn to sit and climb you will need shorts for the correct skin contact with the pole.
What else do I need to bring?
Bring water to stay hydrated throughout the session, a small towel may also be useful.
How long are the classes?
All classes are 60 minutes duration with a warm up and cool-down incorporated into the class time.
What if I am late?
If you miss warm-up you cannot join in your session, it's unsafe to join without the correct warm-up and disruptive to other students to have the instructor take you through an individual warm-up.
What if I need to cancel? We run a strict 24 hour notice cancellation policy. This means that if you do not provide us with 24 hours notice of cancellation, you will lose the class and not be refunded. All classes are non-transferable.
How much are your classes?
Classes are booked in block sessions: 4x 1 hour sessions £40 1 x 1 hour stretch £6 4 x 1 hours stretch £20
Can I book a single class?
Yes, the cost is £12.50
I have no upper body strength, can I still join?
Absolutely! We have beginner sessions tailored to all levels and abilities, remember we were all beginners at one time and we remember how that feels, however we will push you and challenge you to achieve things you never dreamed you could do.
Will I get bruises, will it hurt?
By it's nature pole fitness requires skin contact in order to grip the pole for certain moves/spins/holds so there may be the odd bruise, burn or nip however as you progress and your body becomes used to the movements and holds the pain reduces.
